12 Stages of LifeTM
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bruce Carnahan is a self-taught artist with no formal training. In fact, he doesn't consider himself an artist.
"Storyteller would be far more accurate," he says. "There are some really good artists out there, and I would not
put myself in their category. I would consider myself more of an illustrator, but a storyteller first."
Over the years, he has held a vast diversity of jobs: Dishwasher, Gas Station Attendant, Door-to-Door Bible
Salesman, 18 Wheel Flatbed Cross-Country Truck Driver, Camp Counselor, Waiter, Custodian, College Recruiter,
Minister, Bus Driver, Bell Boy, Pool Plasterer, Storyteller, PBX Operator, Medical Records Duplicator. The
longest and most profitable careers he had, though, were Professional Actor, Advertising Creative Director and
Copy Writer, and Salesperson. He drew on all these experiences and more to create "12 Stages of LifeTM".
However, it is the living of Life itself that he says prepared him to create "12 Stages of LifeTM".
"It wasn't until I nearly died with a chronic disease that I could fully appreciate the true values of Life," he reflects.
"Life has been made richer for me by experiencing both the highs and the lows. Contemplating
"12 Stages of LifeTM" was a vast spiritual experience for me. In many ways, it is a celebration of my own life with
all its successes and disappointments."
In addition to art prints and books, Bruce has also developed a totally new way for people to experience the
message of "12 Stages of LifeTM". He drew on his experience as an actor, minister and salesman to create a
30-45 minute inspirational, motivational speech that reveals how the concept came into being and how it can be
applied personally. Perfect for Class Reunions, Banquets, Graduation Ceremonies, Clubs, and Conventions.
He uses PowerPointTM to project the artwork from the various stages as he details the hidden messages
throughout the series as well as the thematic threads and connections throughout. He is available to speak
personally to your group or association. Just click on "Keynote Speaker" at the top right menu of each page to
find out more.
